Danbury Youth Lacrosse | A DAYO Program
Danbury Youth Lacrosse
Danbury Youth Lacrosse offers programs from Kindergarten through 8th grade, including winter clinics for new and returning players, in-house clinics in the spring, and a travel program which runs from April to June.
Spring Lacrosse
The Spring Lacrosse program officially starts in April and goes through the second week in June.
Teams are offered for boys and and girls in grades 3 through 8. The season includes games and practices at our home fields at Broadview Middle School, as well games in the surrounding towns.
K2 Clinics
Our K2 clinics are the perfect way to introduce young kids to the sport of lacrosse. Over several weeks, they learn the fundamentals of Scooping, Passing and Catching, Shooting, and how to play defense.
Our K2 clinics run for several weeks every spring starting Mid-April at the Broadview Middle School Turf Field. We provide all equipment needed for these sessions, just show up layered comfortable clothes!
Winter Sessions at Rogers Park Middle School
We offer these sessions for our 3rd through 8th Grade program as a way to not only shake the rust off for our returning players, but allow new players to try the sport out.
Our Winter Sessions run from Mid-January to the first week of April when we head outside to play our Spring Season.
Program Events
We also do many fun events as a program here in the city of Danbury. We have have marched in the Memorial Day Parade in Danbury Center, hosted a program night with the Hat Tricks Hockey Team, and wrap our seasons up with a giant family style picnic with games and raffles!
